Tools and Apps

EndNote

EndNote is a software tool for publishing and managing bibliographies. Windows, Mac OS, and web versions are available.

Software must be downloaded from the campus file server: F:\Install\endnote. Users need to create an account from a computer using a South Dakota Mines campus LAN connection; the install process will guide you through this. If you have used EndNote Web or some of the “save your search” features in Web of Science (WOS) you may already have an account.

Once an account has been created, it may be used off campus. A user may use either EndNote Web or the desktop software. Login id must be a valid email account. Once an account has been created you may customize the filters, etc.

Online tutorials and training sessions are available at http://www.endnoteweb.com/training/entraining.asp.
