Do you like Math or Science? Then this is the camp for you. Our emphasis on hands-on-learning provides a unique opportunity to answer the questions: “Is this field right for me?” “Which path do I want to take?” and “Where will it take me?”
Explore different engineering and science degrees during this 4-day camp. Each day students will get a mini presentation on two different STEM fields with hands on activities. Each session is presented by prestigious faculty whose expertise gives
campers a glimpse into STEM careers and gets them excited about their education.
On Thursday afternoon parents join us on campus to learn more about what their campers experienced and an optional campus tour.
ENROLLMENT PROCESS:
All prospective campers must complete the following items before their summer camp application will be complete.
- Submit the online registration
- Make full payment. Camper’s spot will only be held for two weeks by registration unless payment is made
- Submit waivers
CANCELLATION POLICY:
To receive a refund, notice must be given to Brittani Webb at Brittani.Webb@sdsmt.edu or 605-394-6144 with the cancelation 30 days before camp
It's important to note that
acceptance into the program is not guaranteed. Evaluation and notification will take place for each student after the registration form and personal essay completed and evaluated by the camp director. Notification of acceptance will
happen within 2 weeks of application.
This camp is brought by the generous donations and support of Gary and Connie Grittner. Their desire is to expose high schoolers to college campus and encourage them to explore the STEM field.
